Are you inspired by Saint Teresa of Avila, one of the few female doctors of the Church? This rosary is designed to honor her with each element.
The rosary center was selected for its image of the Infant of Prague with the Sacred Heart on the back side. Devotion to the Child Jesus was common among the Carmelites during her lifetime and some believe she was the original owner of the Statue of the first Infant of Prague statue.
The crucifx was selected for it's heart shaped points reflecting on her vision of an angel piercing her heart with an arrow. This vision is again depicted on the side medal in beautiful detail. The reverse of the side medal is equally stunning with its image of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. Finally, since orange was her favorite color, carnelian and coordinating crazy lace agate were used.
